Introduction

The International Inspiration Economy Project (IIEP) and its institutes, target to create sustainable program through focusing and providing a master's program focused on Inspiration Economy (MIE), to be delivered in cooperation with universities and higher educational institutions in various regions of the world. The idea is to create economists and inspiration economy experts who can lead a positive change in their communities. The outcome of the program would lead towards sustainable economic development that depends on self-sufficiency capabilities, and to provide solutions to complex problems. Therefore, the purpose of this document is to set the criteria necessary to prepare a qualified teaching faculty who are capable of inspiring and qualifying a generation of inspiration economy experts that create positive changes in their communities.

Therefore, this file sets the criteria for the MIE program faculty members to ensure that they have the components that contribute to his fulfilling the many changing roles required by the (Master of Inspiration Economics) program. The idea of this file is to ensure the coherence between the faculty members, the mentors, the facilitators of the courses in this program while they are trying to meet the needs of the beneficiaries, i.e. the students or the graduates of this MIE program. In summary, this file focuses on faculty members, from the time of their recruitment till time of their selection or preparation for the courses. The file could be a source for human capital development for the MIE program in the future

First - Preferred fields for the Academic Staff Qualifications Suitable for the MIE Program

Economics, Psychology, Medicine, Medical Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Applied and Theoretical Sciences, Statistics, Educational Sciences, Neurosciences, Strategic Studies, Management and Quality Sciences, Geography, Agriculture, Marketing, Multidisciplinary Researchers, or those with long experience in Socioeconomic Projects .

Second - Choosing MIE Faculty Member 2-1 Scientific Criteria and Requirements

A faculty member in the Master of Inspiration Economy (MIE) program is one who holds a scientific qualification appropriate for the program’s curricula, whether it is (Professor - or PhD - or Master) in basic sciences (applied or humanities) from an accredited university. Those who hold one of the following academic degrees are preferred: (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Teaching Assistant), that is, whoever has teaching experience and practical experience in one of the projects that increases the thinking capacity of the teaching member and his ability to deal with the challenges of teaching and learning in the program.

2-2 Conditions of Appointment for a Faculty Member in the MIE Program

2-2-1 The universities from which the faculty member graduated have to be recognized and distinguished in the specialty from which he graduated or claim to be his main specialty . 2-2-2 Whoever will present the materials requires a very good knowledge of the language that he/she will use in presenting the MIE, which is one of the main languages adopted in the program: English, Arabic, or French . 2-2-3 The following table address the terms of appointment criteria’s for each level of faculty members in the MIE program .

To be a holder of a bachelor's degree with practical experience in the field of inspiration economy projects or the similar of no less than (3 years). Or has a master's degree with experience in the field of inspiration economy projects or the like of no less than (two years), or he has at least two years of university teaching experience Mentor/ Facilitator/ Lecturer 2
To be a holder of a doctorate in the fields related to the economy of inspiration, or have multi-disciplinary experience in university teaching for at least three years, and it is also preferred for those who have published scientific research or innovative projects, whether at the level of institutions, societies, or entrepreneurship of not less than two in 3 years. Assistant Professor 3
That a period of not less than two years has passed since his promotion to the rank of Associate Professor from a research body or a recognized university, and with at least four years of experience in the field of university teaching. Those who have 10 scientific papers published in fields related to the economics of inspiration or innovative projects of no less than five are preferred . Associate Professor 4
To have been promoted not only because of years of teaching, but because of his distinction, research and application impact, and clear impact in the fields of research on which the economy of inspiration focuses, and that he has conducted scientific research published in accredited periodicals or innovative projects of not less than fifteen . Professor 5

Third - General conditions for a faculty member

3-1 To be committed to the values of the inspiration economy, which are based on the spirit of proactiveness, and learning through experimenting or exploring and besides what the partnering university requires.

3-2 Should not have been dismissed by a disciplinary decision and should be committed not to use the teaching platforms for purposes other than what the master’s program aims .

Fourth - Requirements for Qualifying and Training the Academic Faculty in the Program

There are some professional requirements for preparing a professor and the teaching faculty in the Master of Inspiration Economy (MIE) program, which would help him to perform his duty fully and deliver his message as it should be through showing the capacity and ability to develop:

Academic and Technical Planning: to build multiple and varied experiences to deal with societal or institutional issues and challenges, local, regional, or international, to qualify the students in the MIE program. Or to keep pace with the requirements of the applications, projects and developments of the inspiration economy and the like sciences. This could be done through exploring the requirements for the development of the curriculum materials or the process associated with the decisions in the program.

Innovation in Learning Industry: by encouraging flip class teaching style, confirming learning methodologies through application, and methodologies for collecting notes (classroom and non-classroom). The teaching faculty also are expected to work on building a renewed mentality and mindsets that contributes to building the inspiring personality, the spirit of leadership and the integrity of logic. The faculty member is also expected contributes to the clarity of communicating the idea, and other qualities that contribute to the enrichment of society and make the graduates have a life-purposefulness or a vision of their role in life .

Apply Selection Criteria for Teaching Faculty in Each Course: It is one of the important foundations that will distinguish the program, as there will be two (2) teachers or more who will deliver a single course to build a holistic thinking and ensure that the materials are connected to the concept of the inspiration economy

Educational Environment: preparing the study location and providing educational aids and aids such as books, appropriate laboratories, computer devices and the Internet, performance evaluation software, quality systems, and everything that helps to qualify the teaching staff and their communication with students.

Personal Determinants: It is important that the faculty member in the program has the traits and characteristics that reflect the persevering inspiring personality with a passion for making an impact through supporting the students on this curriculum, or through leading by example and not just teaching in class. It is also important to take into account the general appearance, healthy fitness and commitment to national and religious concepts.

Ability to Interact with Students: In addition to the ability to manage the educational learning process, it is important for a member of the teaching staff to experience appropriate field work for each course through the laboratories that the students will implement, or direct or indirect supervision of class projects or graduation projects in the program. It is also important to integrate the learning process with some fun and cheerfulness, as well as spreading commitment to general literature and virtuous morals .

Scientific Determinants: Besides competency requirements, it is important for the MIE program faculty member to cooperate with colleagues in the course, or in the program in general, for the continuous development of the methods of delivery and the program assessment. Beside, it is important the faculty member work on creating new ideas and research that positively differentiate the reputation of the MIE program and its impact on both the world and the knowledge community and in attracting institutions that support and adopt the program.

Cultural Determinants: The MIE program faculty member is expected to be familiar with the elements of culture, both the old and modern one, and should show concerns of what is happening on the community and world, to trigger concerns about bringing deep solutions.

Professional Determinants: The program is distinguished by the fact that each course in it builds a quality of behaviours and skills that are not available at the same size in other courses, and therefore it is important for a faculty member to take this into account in the planning or delivery stages of the course.

Fifth - Applied Knowledge Required of the Teaching Staff

It is expected that the teaching staff will have, after one year of their first semester, the following explicit abilities:

First – Have the different types of knowledge in both the materials and management of the socio-economic projects in fields, and relevant theories of the inspiration economy. Besides, being fully acquainted with the practices, methodologies, processes, besides utilising the tools related to it.

Second – Show development of the skills of implementing inspiration economy projects and the like disciplines, with success and confidence in all fields.

Third – Show the ability to use the inspiration economy approach in solving complex problems, and developing public, national and community institutional strategies, as well as foresight the future.

Fourth - Use and analyse the basics of multiple sources of knowledge in the inspiration economy, including the most important modern tools and methods in exploring opportunities related to the economy of inspiration.

Sixth - Professional Prospects for the MIE Program that the Teaching staff will Work on Qualifying.

It should be visualised that MIE program Faculty would be working on developing, inspiring and educating students that would graduate as ‘Experts in Inspiration Economics’ and might carry, or work on the following fields :

Note- this file would work on progress document, specially in the first two years of the program, as the information validity would depend a lot on the actual testing of the MIE program in the field and based on the feedback from the students and evaluators (i.e. the accreditation authority).
